TRUE STORIES FROM OUR CLIENTS
>> Nick served in Iraq for three years. Recently, he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and had his left hip removed. While on hold from getting veterans benefits, he and his wife have fallen behind on mortgage and chemo co-payments. Bridges of Love was able to connect them to local churches and make the difference last month.
>> Jennifer and her husband own a flooring business that has been hit by the economic downturn. For the past two years they have been struggling to pay their rent, while raising their children. When they called Bridges of Love they were facing a 3 day pay or vacate notice. After some creative brainstorming, we were able to point them to help.
>> Brooke went to the hospital for help with what looked to be the flu. While there, the doctors rushed her into surgery and she ended up staying for 7 days of in patient recovery. Once she went home, she had to take an additional 4 weeks off of work. When she contacted Bridges of Love, she was asking for help to pay her utilities. We got her intake done and reconnected her with a church in her area to meet the need.
The calls we get every day break our hearts and remind us of our need for a Savior. Bridges of Love is not just an organization, but a movement of God. It is in Him that we live and move and have our being.
